well, i've been overclock my 2100+ to 2.4ghz since the day i got it (like 8months i think), but recently something strange started to happen..
after installing my new waterblock, i could actually overclock at lower voltages. my temps dropped as well, no suprise there.
then while i was just surfing, my computer would freeze... after 5 seconds, the screen would go black, then come back and everything would be working fine again. that would just keep on happening over and over again!! i thought it might be a stability issue (even though prime, and benchmarks ran without problems) so i increased the voltage, but it wouldn't stop..
now i'm running at 2.2ghz @ 1.9v and the problem doesn't come up.
very stange... anyone got any ideas?
my hardware is ..
Epox 8rda+
tbred 2100+ 0250
prolink gfx 5200
i know cooling isn't an issue.. my temps are very low
38c idle, 41c load
even my northbridge is water cooled
system temps are 30c, usually doesn't increase at load more then 1-2c
