edit: Crap, it's out of stock already. Wish my tax return would hurry up and get here.
HA! Sounds sooo familiar. Last year I bought a 24" lcd and colorimeter. This year is an alienware m11x.

Meh I don't really see the point of 3D 120Hz gaming ... your games will still cap at 60FPS before you get Vertical Tearing.
As far as the 3D thing goes, it made me motion sick/nauseous when watching "Home Improvement" in 3D back in the 90's using the pair of 3D Glasses I got from my "Lunchables" package.
This is slightly different.
Oh yeah, 120hz means it can show 120fps with no tearing. That's what hertz are, cycles per second.
*cough* what?
This looks fun and anxiously awaiting some reviews but I wont be getting one. Im holding out for the home theater 3D stuff
assuming it looks good of course.
ya dont really have the room for DLP. Still in an apartment with a sad little 37" HD LCDTV and wanting something in the 46" range or better but with 3d coming to light in the near future I dont want to upgrade twice really. So thinking about holding out for those but I just know one of those tvs will rape my poor wallet.
After seeing avatar is what really turned me on to 3d haha but I certainly wont break the bank to get it.
A 3d projector might be interesting but is it new style 3d with the polarizing etc or the old style where they split the blue and red out of the picture? And then I would have to find a wall to project onto...
I was confused by the 120Hz thing. I was under the impression that all LCDs on the market right now that claim 120Hz just have two interloping 60Hz/FPS going at the same time (Which makes me motion sickness)
These panels can actually exceed the refresh rate of CRTs now? Sicckkk
Do the DLP sets actually do 120Hz/120FramesPerSecond now too? I might have to get one lol.
