Thats one sweet OC. the 2800 rocks i only got my to 2330MHz ram is holding me from going any further. im hoping i can hit 12.5x200 with some new ram good luck with your oc its looking sweet so far

Yes you :D

I want to see if I can get my 1800 faster on air than your 2800 on water/peltier. This may take a while as I will be lapping my heatsink (it's horribly concave) and making a shorud/spacer for the fan. I'll probably be done by the end of the week, if I ever find my PC3200 RAM that is somewhere in this house... been missing in action since the 25th.

I already got: (I adjusted the fan for 40C on all tests)

2118MHz 1.50v
2192MHz 1.55v
2257MHz 1.60v

Each is stable for 1.5 hours under Prime95 Priority 10. I should test it for longer but I'm impatient :p

Want to reckon with me? :D

Sprite, have you modded your board yet? I needed 15°C water temperature and 2.1v to reach where I got, btw... If you can get that close with only 1.85v, you've got a lot of room left. 2.7ghz isn't out of the question for a peltier setup.

L337 M33P hey such low v core wow

Gautam
ive moded the vcore yes im running @ 2593mhz fsb 225 vcore 2.0

things wernt stable yesterday but all is fine now ...i think i upped things to quickly .......

im v modding the chipset tomorrow if the local shop has everything in :D

ty ar47bl13

:D :D

Gautam L337 M33P

well ive moded the memory and the vcore .......

vcore 1.98v memory 2.9v

im now running at 2615mhz @ 227fsb

im just testing the fsb now see how high it will go with the memory so ive put the multi to 10.5 fsb 230 and its fine .......

i tested my chipset voltage and its only 1.53v

ill keep you informed andy

ps L337 M33P

hope youve found youre ram :p

I would like to compete, but that would be too much work. I'd have to mod the board to get Vcore above 1.85V and then do wire socket mods to get the multis above 12.5. My A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2 won't go above 211 FSB and I think I've tried just about everything short of a hardwired VDD mod. The pencil trick got my VDD up to about 1.65V, but it didn't help my FSB overlocking at all.
I'm getting 2532MHz on 1.825Vcore (though the A7N8X overvolts by a good .5V) so I'm sure there's good headroom left in the chip.

Argh... It's probably in Bristol, oh well, I'll just crank up ye olde PC2100 RAM. CAS3 here I come w00t.

I have no volt mods on my board (and I'm not about to try), so the max is 1.85v Core and 2.8v DIMM. I might have to put a desk fan on the side to keep it all from bursting into flames :p

I'm gonna start ramping up... Then I'll compare it when I have made a shroud for the fan and lapped the HS base to 10 microns :)

bring it on lol heheheh

chip set mod complet now :D

vcore 1.95
memory 2.9
chipset 1.81

for now .....but ive just noticed that my rails have droped alot the 5v is 4.67v normal 5.2v
12v is 11.90v normal 12.3v
mmmmm omg it might be time to upgrade psu as well ....i dont think its copeing with all this extra on the mobo :(

well i will try l8ter time for food now :)

andy

Spritedandy: The reason for the crappy rails is a crappy PSU. Q-tecs are um, a bit weak and not capable of anywhere near 550W.

LoL the ultimate test - a fully Vmodded up system on a WB+Peltier vs me with my cheapo RAM and completely virgin motherboard o_O. Good job I have a nice tweaked 400W Fortron :D

this is going to be tough...

Spiritedandy, you could open up the psu and see if there are pots in there somwhere. If there are, maybe you could adjust it to give you a little more V.

Rawr

200MHz on PC2100.
2.8v 3-4-4-11 hehe

Currently almost done the 1024K test on Prime, usually it cops out at 7 minutes or less or not at all. Priority 9 so I can actaully use the computer, but damn it's laggy.

2316MHz, 1.65v, 1.65v average in MBM5.

EDIT: 2378MHz, 1.70v, Still Priming...

L337 M33P

  putting youre foot down now ehh !!! such low vcore !!!

well im now at (ran toast for 3 hrs )

2615mhz @ 227 fsb

vcore 1.95v
memory 2.9v
chipset 1.81v

andy :) :)

Is your chip a Barton? In that case I can just about beat you in the MHz but you would just have 150MHz advantage over me in terms of performance o_O

Heh my chip is a fast runner on low voltage :) I may hit a wall though due to having aircooling and 1.85v ceiling.
