check this out.

I just started overclocking it tonite, and this is what i'm up to so far. Now mind you this is with cheap infineon ddr2700 ram.

Bios says i've got a 306 fsb and a 2700+

WUCPUD says this:

2220.43 mhz

I'm running a 12x185 thru bios

memory timings are 11x4x4x3

Think i should go higher with this or no?
Any and all input is great!

You have a 2600+ Barton running a multi of 12, since the default is 11.5 it's unlocked.

SLK947 with 92mm Tornado 300? If you have a name brand power supply, your chip shuld do way above 2.3 GHz easy. So up that multi, and Prime 95 Torture test to find the ceiling as usual...

PC2700 do high 180s or low 190s but lower the multi to find the FSB limit first of course.

Most of the retailers will still have the older 2600's and 2700's since they didnt sell as well as the 2500's and 2800's...

Do you happen to know the week of that 2600?

I'm using an SLK-947 with a Vantec tornado. It's loud, but cool. I have a 550 watt power supply, I read in other forums that looking at the voltages when they're overclocked is a good indication to a good power supply. My +5 is 4.95, my +12 is 11.90. Here in a few i'm going to jump upstairs, drop the multi, up the fsb to 190, and see what it does from there. BTW i'm runnign stock voltage :~

Here we go, i'm running prime95 now, bumped some things up.

Ram voltage is up to 2.60, processor is 1.75
running 12x195 at 47 idle, going to see what prime 95 does.

2341mhz :)

Oh and Glock it's a week 37 2600+
