Hey guys,

I'm having an issue on my new system that I just built (RIG 1 below in my sig). I am running 3 monitor portrait surround at 3240x1920 and only in certain games like Witcher 3 and Far Cry 5 I am unable to get anything other than a black screen. I have other games that recognize my 3 monitors as one and can run in 3240x1920 native resolution but for some reason Witcher 3 will only work in windowed mode and Far Cry5 will not display anything at all. If I alt+tab in Far Cry 5 it will change context view to show the desktop and all other active windows with the game in the background. At that point the game actually un-pauses, sound comes back on and continues, but as soon as I click anywhere on it, it goes back to a full black screen. Again, I have several titles that work just fine but those two simply will not take full screen portrait surround. Any ideas?

lol Yeah, it was a shot in the dark there. Perhaps those games don't have a profile in the Nvidia driver? In that case, maybe update the driver? If not that then I don't know.

Using nvidia's latest driver. I'll fiddle with it some more. I may need to start exploring buying a nice big gaming monitor to replace the surround thing I'm doing. It's starting to be as much of a hit or miss as SLi in the last 5 years.

I think that I saw a list of games under the surround system.

Not many if this is telling me what I think it's telling me.

Yeah the actual support is a lot more broad than this but I assume that this is the guaranteed support list. I believe the issue I'm having has something to do with Windows 10 and how it handles multiple displays. Again, I have titles like DCS World and ARMA III that have no issues with 3 monitor surround but for some reason Witcher 3 and Far Cry 5 dont do well. There may be more I'm sure.
