302 or 307?

Is there a difference between the two for overclocking? I am under the impression that those are the two 1700+ that are the best right?

acutally the 308 and 310 DLT W or X is the magic 1700...

the 302, 304, and 308's are some of the better XP2100's...

Which one is better for overclocking under air cooling and what should I expect fro mboth?

The 310 will be the best one of the two...I like my 310 W...will run at 12.5x166 at default voltage and up to 2350 at 1.6v's...will do better when I get another NF2 MB though...

Also, if you do not have one...get a SLK-800...you will love it on the 1700...
