3200+ Venice or an opteron 148?

Which christmas present would you rather receive? I got the 3200+ but could get the 148...don't really know.

i would go for the opteron. it will clock higher with lower voltages. I got my 3200+ 24hr prime stable at 2700mhz. but to do this i had to max my voltage out, cpu-z shows 1.6 volts. the opteron should do better assuming you get a good stepping.

Doesn't really matter, the 146 has a better price/performance ratio, but the 148 clocks really well too, if your getting it as a present, why not get the better?

If cost is an issue...and high HTTs aren't an issue:
You could try to find an Opteron 144 in the $150 USD range.
