360 died. now i got a spare hard drive and i need some help

So it burned out and now i got a spare 20gig sata 2.5 inch drive.

I plut it in and windows wont pick it up i take it that the drive is locked. Anyone know how i could use this drive on a computer?

Well its older and i dont know how much life its got left on it. I dont wanna sell anyone a lemmon.

So by 'Windows doesn't recognize it' I take that it doesn't show up in My Computer? Did you try using Disk Management? Right click My Computer and click Manage, or go to admin tools.

I think Xbox HDD's have a special firmware just for the xbox. Not sure if you can flash them with a normal firmware tho
