well i used to run 3dm2k on 98se-no problem. I upgraded to 2kpro and now i cannot run 3dmark2k it locks up 10seconds into the helocopter test?? its not the VIA drivers-i dont have a VIA chipset-its amd 756 chipset. tried tons of drivers -7.76, 1080, 1100, 1200, 1240-none work. i have DX8 installed too(yes the 2k version) i have the same video card that i had on my 98se system and its overclocked-i put it back to default and it still locks up-not heat cause i got a HS and fan on the GPU- with good case cooling-all the DX8 3d render tests work fine
