3dmark doesnt work after reformat.

ive reformatted my hdd, did a fresh install of win98se. had the latest via 4 in 1's, dets 23.11 (seems like my vidcard likes these drivers). system is running on stock for now... but 3dmark2k1 hangs after the 2nd test. my pc was doing fine without the reformat, same drivers except for the 4in1s which were 4.27 (i think). what wud be causing this problem?

failing memory, not nec likely, but possible, or, more likely, a bad d/l

once took me until the 9th d/l of 3dMark b4 I got one that would complete & not hang somewhere

i waz thinking maybe the tv tuner i lately purchased is sharing the irq with the vidcard. might be that or a bad software.

Yeah, That could be it. I expect the tv tuner card brought some sw w/it & now it's not 'playing well together'. I'm sure you know the drill. GL!
