3dMark not working w/ a 9200

I try using 3dmark 2001 for my 9200 but it says i have to have a DirectX 8 capable 3d card. I know for a fact that the 9200 is Directx 8 capable. please help.

Do you have DirectX installed? You need to install it separate from Windows

i have direct x 9 installed even tho my card doesnt support it. Its what came w/ my mobo.

Do you have the newest patch for 3Dmark installed? Are the drivers for your video card installed?
