3dmark2001se will not run!

Well I dl this new benchmark cause I just got a new vid card and I wanted to see the new graphics but I cant get it to run! I reinstalled 3dmark a few times and I deleted all my other madonion programs. It fails almost immediatly in the demo right after the Directx 8.1 screen flashes.

I have direct X 8.1 , 6014 ATI 8500 and I'm using W2Kpro SP1.

Uninstall your old drivers and reinstall your new drivers. I had the same problem. Go to control panel add/remove programs and uninstall the old stuff. That worked for me. Also I found the 6025 drivers to score higher.

The benchmark works now after I tried the ZBuffer registry trick I took a small performance hit though I wish it would run at 24-bit. The demo still wont run though.
