3DMark2k1SE and not running half the tests???

I noticed in comparing my scores to others that beat me that they are running less than half the tests. Is this the new standard for testing our systems now?

not really, I think it's more of the fact that the score is based more on the first 7 or so test? I'm not sure exactly how many but somewhere around there. So, any other tests you do after that is time wasted. Try selecting to run only the first 7 or so tests, you get the same score as when you run all of them...

Your score is the same with or without running the rest of the tests. Heres is the formula to calculate your score:

[(L1+L2+L3)X10] + [H1+H2+H3+NATURE)X20]

L1 is game one low detail, H1 is game one high detail, etc.

So sometime benchmarkers just skip the rest of the tests, since I won't make a different.
