Why at VIAARENA does it say if you have a hybrid to use the mother board manufactures drivers.Wouldn't it be better to use the latest drivers offered or do some updated drivers cause problems when overclocking?

Hybrid = they prolly mean that the board has different manufacturers of the chips (like abit kg7 for example)
If you don't feel like getting the drivers from abit themselves, get drivers from both amd and via, they will not install drivers that you don't need/can't use.

Make sure first that you know what board you have.
If it's a clean via-only board then just install the 4in1 drivers.
