will my 430watt true power (duel rail 17a/17a on 12v) run a x1950pro agp ok or should i order a new PS at the same time? really dont want it to get here and not work.

I ran my PCIe X1950 Pro and my E6600 overclocked on a 430W Antec for a bit and it worked, but it was maxed out. I could hear the fans change speed under loads. I bought a bigger PSU with crossfire in mind.

Your going to be pushing it, it should work, but your on that ragged edge.

hmm think i might pick up a ocz powerstream 600w off the forums here, i like the gamerXtreme OCZ but from what i can tell 2x of the 4 12v rails are only for pci-e which i dont have, and wont have for a year or so.

am i wrong in my thinkin?

With the current setup you shouldn't have an issue to running it on the Antec. Really only way to test is to get it and find out. I mean people have got 1900XT's to run on 350W PSU's before so you'd think it should be possible with that card and rig.
