Yea, Ive got this slight problem with my Tbird.. I can run full speed, but the minute I reach 45C on the die, my system locks up. WTH? I can downgrade to 1.2 or 1.3 and run just fine, even reach up to 48C with no probs. Airflow isnt a problem, and HSF seating isnt a problem with a my new Swiftech SCX-370 (yea, thats right, it finally came in!). Right now Im running idle at 36C at 1.33GHz and all is fine. But why cant I run full speed?

Chips tend to have walls at frequency/temp combinations. Sounds like you found one of yours...though it seems to be awfully low for that, as many people runs thier heaters^H^H^H^H^H^H^H AMD chips at much higher temps than that. I would consider complaining to the store you bought it from.
