well i was overclocking at the specs below and i was getting temps around 53c. so i wanted to see what they were at default (vcore is default too). im reunning SETI right now and they are 45c. insane huh? what could be wrong. ive had the temps like this for about 2 months now.

well, your using 1.85vcore which will raise those temps a bit.

Also, the juihb aren't the best 1700+ overclockers, also it might have to do with your heatsink installation.

Maybe try a diff thermal compound? AS3? or just try remounting your HSF. With a bad mount I had temps of around 48C+ load, and now it doesn't get above 40C after remounting, also I don't know what the bottom of the HSF you're using is like, but if the metal isn't shiny/smooth you could always try lapping too. and everything he said too ;)

How are you measuring the temperature?

Have you looked around the forum to see if anyone else is reporting abnormally high temps with this motherboard? The motherboard itself is sometimes inaccurate enough in its temp measurements to cause undue concern.
