Plus 1 on the the 4770 Radeon. Will play those games very well and decent resolutions. Good budget gaming card.

4650 is a fine gpu for older games , gddr3 4670 would be a less drastic step up and another good option , but that 4650 is a great value at 50 delivered :).

My mobility 4650 plays newer games like Fallout 3, left for dead 1&2, bioshock, just fine. These can all be maxed at 1600x900 with some aa thrown in too. Not ball blistering frame rates, so if you have a fps monitor running every time you play, nevermind. Still very playable though.

A 4650 will do you just fine.
That CPU can't drive a 4770 at close to full speed anyway, odds are that a 4650 would be close to the same speed. A 4650 should play pretty much anything that came out in 2006 or earlier at that res without issue at full blast, and newer games at reduced settings. Having a low res like that places a lot lower demand on the GPU.

A GDDR3 4670 would be better as stated but those cards are ok for older games. You may also want to check out used cards, you can occasionally find 9600GT or 8800GT on various forums or maybe even eBay for not much more that will blow away those cards.
