Hi,

I just want to know which of these cards (i have no other options) would be enough for me:
Sapphire 4870 Vapor-X 2GB
Sapphire 4890 Vapor-X 2GB

I play on a 22" LCD with a 1620x1080 resolution. The 4890 is 80$ more then the 4870.

(P.S.: The GTX 275 falls between the 2 in price, but i preferred the Vapor-X because of the cooling and lower noise)

Thank you.

Are you sure it's not 1680x1050 or 1920x1080?

Either way, a 2GB card is a waste of money, and so is paying $80 more for a 4890.

Sorry, my mistake. It's 1920x1080, hence the 1080p in the title.

Yeah i know it's a waste, but they're the only Vapor-X cards available. :-/

2GB cards are a monumental waste at that resolution. You would spend teh same if not less if you bought an aftermarket cooler for them and put it on yourself. Get the best card you can afford.
