5.1 Not showing up..

I got a SoundBlaster Audigy and a 5.1 speaker set up.. my problem is that i got a dvd-rom and neather on powerdvd or windvd i can choose anything beside 2 speakers.. :-(
any help would be greatly apreaciated..

There is a sound option in both programs that let you choose speaker output or if i remember spdif passthrough, or ac3. something along those lines, that should let you get 5.1 sound.
