Just wanted to say that CompUSA has a offer for 50 pack of DVD+ or - for only $60. And that's not with some stupid rebate either :D I suggest you check it out if you tend to download a lot of things or have other reasons to have things on DVDs.

Well considering I've only used Memorex so far and have never had a bad DVD I'd have to say that Memorex isn't bad either. But thanks for the heads up on the Ritek, although I don't see any 4x rated DVDR+ for that price in a 50 pack. Question though, in theory wouldn't a 2.4x disk burn fine at 4x anyway?

I've been burning DVDs for a couple of years now and I can tell you without any hesitation that Ritek are the best overall when it comes to price/quality/compatibabilty, etc...

Never had an error with a Ritek, in other brands you can have as many as 1/10 fail you, i.e. made into a coaster.

So far the 50 pack of Imation DVD-Rs have been champ for me. Imation had always made a decent CDR as well, never a problem with those either.

officedepot has 25 packs of maxell dvd-r or+r for 49.99 buy one get one free. Order them online with a filler to get over 50$ then use the 10off50 coupon thats out there and thats 50dvd's for $40
