I saw this Video and the CEO showing the size of that chip is just insane also 32 Gigs of ram. I am guessing the price tag would be around $2850 +.

Well, we've had this discussion before.....What makes me mad is why do Invidia 4070 Super & up dont have 16 gigs of vram???
The same reasons we covered previously. Please tell me why a GPU would not benefit having more vram??? 4070 S 4070 TI 4070 TI S????
I don't play in 4k I play in 1440p.I have seen games on the highest setting get close to using all the vram. The same reasons we covered previously.
Like system RAM, having unused vRAM isn't helpful either. 4070/4070S isn't 'really' a 4K card horsepower-wise (assuming your goals are ultra/60 FPS+). The other cards can do 4K UHD, but, 12GB isn't a performance limiting factor in most cases at 4K.
Take a look at TPU reviews of games and see how many eclipse 12GB... of those that do, how many actually show performance issues??? Then maybe you'll look at it differently.
At 1440p, there's no way I would be 'mad' at 12GB of vRAM on my video card...even 3 years down the road.I don't play in 4k I play in 1440p.I have seen games on the highest setting get close to using all the vram.
..not sure why, 3 weeks later, you're suddenly 'mad'.IMO 12 gig to 16 gig to me is enough to play 1440p games at max or high settings and 8 gigs with lower setting and 1080p.
I don't care if you disagree with me this is IMO!!!!!!! You make it sound like law and it's not, try telling AMD & Invidia what you think and I bet they shake you off like fleas.Disagree. I think the only card that's lacking vRAM for the horsepower it has is the 4070 Ti (AMD's GPU have the opposite problem -- they rely on 'bigger number attracts more (simple) buyers). Still, an overwhelming majority of games do not eclipse the 12GB mark at 4K. But if you're one of the 3% that use 4K monitors, you'll probably want a 4080 or greater to properly drive games at ultra settings. Again, you can lower settings, but, that's not the goal for most people (see Rainless' thread where we covered all of All of this IMO
