Probably, or what they might do is since everyone is looking at this deal now, and they know that, they might bring it back at $700, it won't be quite the deal, but people will still get it anyways.

Glad to see that the prices are finally coming down. $600 is by no means cheap, but it's a much better 'deal' than it was at ~ $700+. Hopefully this card will come down even further to put pressure on the x1800XT and 256MB GTX.

It probably will. The X1800XT has dropped in price (ewiz has it for like $500), so nVidia will have to drop somewhat as well.

actually, most of the 256 models are less than $500 now, barring a couple straglers that have their cards overclocked at first (with a 490mhz core as it seems to be).
