This is my pc setup
-asrock x99x killer
-i7 5820k and
-crucial ballistix sport 2x8gb 3000mhz ram
Im new to overclocking but this mobo makes it easy with optimized preset profiles for cpu and dram. The problem i came across is ill set the cpu oc profile to 4.2ghz, the rest it sets automatically with 1.22v, 3.3ghz cache and 100mhz bclk. On default my ram runs at 2400mhz if i turn on the xmp to get 3000mhz all my cpu preset profile settings gets screw up.
Cpu oc will change to 5+ghz with bclk feequency at 125mhz. How do i set the ram oc to get at least 2666mhz preferably 3000mhz while not effecting the optimized preset 4.2ghz profile with 3.3ghz cache and 100mhz bclk?
