Power went out for us again last night. May be down for a few days for this one. Had about 5 - 10 minutes of straight lightning. I've seen lightning before but this was continuous for several minutes straight. Never seen such a thing in all my 29+ years. So my production is ****. Let's move on.

Atto is bouncing up and down but the recent past is trending down. They are continuing to lose active members. They only have 165 as of this writing. It's been a strange day at work today. We couldn't get in because the digital security system was down. Turns out the back door was wide open and another employee let us in. One full phase of power is out so half the office works and half does not. Not like half the building works and the other half doesn't. We have one office that is fully up. The rest either have lights and no outlets or outlets and no lights. My office has power to enough outlets that my computer is working. Windows are letting in enough light to work. Once the front door was opened, the mag lock will not engauge again. So in an office were people would have to ring to get in, they can just walk in. Hopefully no one who is mad at us comes over. Only one guy with a gun is working today.

My house is still dark. No production there. Could be back as early as tonight or later than tomorrow night. 11PM seems to be the time the electric company is using as a metric. Tonight by 23:00 or tomorrow by 23:00. Whatever. I used about 5 gallons of gas for my generator last night AND the day earlier. I get about 2 hours per gallon. We run half the house to include the refrigerator. Current count from the local electric company is just over 26,400. Down from over 29k this AM.

I topped off the gen this morning after I shut it down for the day and will get the can filled on the way home. I have about 7.5 gallons of gas in total reserve plus what's in the tank. We'll be fine. No folding. We will be able to stream TV with our T-mobile internet so.... We're good. We may put a whole house gen further up on our wish list.

I had a whole house generator installed late last year...have yet to put it to the test. Hoping no hurricanes get close as I'm within eyesight of the Gulf.

Power just came back about an hour or so ago. I think I have my folding back up but the machines fought me. I also lost a 9 year old UPS so I went to Best Buy and replaced it. It was $5 more than Amazon plus tax made it ~$18 dollars more but my BB credit card will give me $10 back and I got it today. This one keeps all of my major networking gear running for about 2 hours.
