Hello and welcome to another edition of.... whatever we're calling this. The weekly update. We are no longer chasing EVGA, I may have pissed them off with my comments about their demise. We'll see. We are, however, chasing NVIDIA, one of the world's most profitable companies. 1.8 months. We seem to be setteling into our summer points. Both teams have a slight upward trend in production with NVIDIA being slightly steeper than our's. They could slow our advance. But summer heat being what it is, with all of the record high temps and we aren't even in the dog days of summer yet. Sheesh!

For a team with about 40 active members, we have 11 in the top 200 in the entire world. Not bad. Not bad at all.
This week we took a big hit in active members. We are down to an even 40. Now, looking at current weather conditions around the nation, we have areas with record highes in the 110- 120F region. It's crazy hot. So, if you shut down due to heat, we get it. Stay cool and we'll see you on the other side of all this heat. Average PPD for current active folders is 13.4 million. This is never a valuable number but it is up and that is good. If you join the team and earn less than our average, we'd gladly take the hit on average ppd. More is always better but more importantly is that any points are better than no points. So, if you can only earn a few thousand points per day (ppd), that's fine with us. You're still a member of the team. Do what you can whatever that is.
Top 19 are earning 1 million ppd or more. I don't think we have had less than 20 at this level snce the start of the pandemic. Again, heat and all... we get it.
Top 10 are earning 10 million ppd or more.
Top 7 are earning 20 million ppd or more.
Top 5 are earning 30 million ppd or more.
Top 4 are earning 50 million ppd or more.
Top 3 are earning 70 million ppd or more. In fact, the @folding monkeys and @WhitehawkEQ seem to be in a tight race. WOOT!
Top 1 is earning more than 166 million ppd. That's not the most ever but a hell of a lot. Thank you.
@WhitehawkEQ just earned 60 BILLION!!!!! WOOT! Great job. I understand you have more coming online soon. Give those monkeys hell!

Note: The word "earned" is used a lot because we earn our points. Especially in the heat of summer. It ain't easy buying the equipment, setting it all up and keeping it running. It takes time, money and effort. Every WU we complete hopefully helps some scientist somewhere find cures for cancer and other.
Oh. In the US, we have a drinking holiday. I know it was yesterday, but this is the weekend for it. Do NOT drink and drive. Drink *or* drive is okay but not both. Same with drugs. Don't... ah... drug and drive. Police will be out in force with orders to not let people "slide". They'll also be working overtime which they may or may not like. So be safe, be respectful and FOLD ON!
