60 fps in counter strike

I am only getting 60 fps when i think i should be getting slightly more, can anyone tell me if i should be getting more, or how to increase the amount of fps,

I am running
duron 1200,
384 ddr ram
geforce 2 64mb mx 400
win xp pro

Don't the fps also depend on your connection? Like the more bandwidth the more fps. I'm not sure though, just a rumor I heard =\

make sure you have turned off 'VSync'

turn off "vsync" in opengl settings.
and set
fps_max 99
in console

yeah and u can do fps_max 100 so u can get 99.9 fps sometimes , 100 is max hehe.
another thing i ahd that too, u gotta get refresh rate fix, for win xp, it will fix it

where do i get a refresh rate fix for win xp and where do i edit the opengl settings to turn off vsync?

100.3 fps

is it normal for it to be at 100.3 fps most of the time? isn't it supposed to be at 99.9?

Mine was at 99.9 with refresh rate fix, but then i updated drivers to 28.32 w/ refrsh rt fix compatible, and its back to running at 60
