Hey everyone, im trying to reach 4.5ghz with 1.35v~ but everytime the i start some stress test i receive a BSOD (clock watchdog timeout), to reach stable 4.5ghz i need at least 1.37v~, this give me high temps, about 85-88C.
I can do 4.2ghz at 1.25v,4.4ghz with 1.35v and max temps 83C,. I only tried to change the voltages and multipliers, i haven`t disable anything in the motherboard (i`m using a gigabyte z170x gaming 3, cooling with h100i).
So i lost in the lottery or you guys can give me any tips?
Lost in the lottery is my take.

Those temps are fine though. We say to keep stress testing temps below 90C (CPU throttles itself around 100C).
+1 you have lost in the luck of the CPU draw, that temp is ok for stress testing. If you have any other questions just ask.
