Ok, I have only created a 680i raid array once (on eVGA) and it lasted for 2 days before corruption. That was 2 weeks ago or more. I have had this Asus P5N32-E-SLI for almost a week and have tried to create this array more than 3 dozen times and each time encounter failure for more than one reason. The first reasons were deu to bad floppies now I have gotten a set of new floppies and I get this...."Setup cannot copy the file: nvraid.sys" I have scoured the Asus site for a new driver and the NV site all to no avail. Asus tech support is just as helpful.

I would like to try a USB SATA Raid driver install but do not know how to do it. Not even sure it will work cause I cannot get the bios to read the USB drive as a removable drive.

Any ideas?

I did order this Rosewill SATA Raid PCI-e card which shipped today to wait for a fix.

Hard drive config...2 x 74Gb 8mb SATA Raptors

AAAAHHHHH the bugs in these boards..
Im telling ya.. if the one I have doesn't have these issues.. your first on my list krag :D

Sad thing is.. I was considering getting a SATA controller just to test this thing and I havnt even opened the box yet (I dont have an IDE drive and I dont want to bother buying one)

WEll, I'll proly go back to the eVGA when I get it cause they have burned the midnight oil to release a bios(es) fix to correct eVGA's SATA issue. I seriously doubt Asus will get one to the masses soon. To think, I spent 300 stinkin $ ont his board just to buy a controller.
