We have 227 years of crude oil left(In the USA). It's the greed of the oil companies. We export oil to over 150 countries. Why don't we keep it to ourselves ? Because we get more money from the other countries. If we sold it domestically it would flood the market and lower the price. Companies that want high profits are not going to do that.

You might be watching too much Fox news Entertainment , brother. :D

Own oil stocks and go along for the ride.

Gas isn't that high where I am at $2.80 something at Costco with 4% back.

Got your passkey in ?
Yeppo—verified

So weird-my 3060 web client is showing 2.7-3mil daily PPD, and my two 4060s are 3.8-4.5mill PPD each, but my stats page since I went down and got it all back up are similar to only my 3060 running the past few days since I restarted all my clients. I should be 10-12mil PPD total…

Also, I am running the Linux web FAH client on one work PC and my home PC via Ubuntu 24.04 (not CLI mode with the crazy setup, just base install)… settings in all machines have my passphrase data filled out with team 32 etc too…

Yeah, something is off... 3 rigs running, all with my passkey. You can see the dip in production when one of my rigs went off line. Then, I fired it back up, to include using my home PC again... You can see before my dip on 31 Oct, I was only folding with a 3060 and 4060 rig... but now, all three of my rigs are up since the dip on 31 Oct, but I am only making 2-2.5mil PPD total for 3060 and x2 4060 GPUS???

So this is what I do. I finish the current WU. Uninstall fah and check the Data box (To remove it). Install it again. I don't know the PITA for that with Linux. I am using the older 7 client on Windows.

If your credentials are all good name, Team #32 and passkey and you have the right drivers plus no CPU client running. I blame it on the client.

@Norcalsteve Your existing passkey is no longer qualified for bonus (less than 80% wu completed OK). Looks like ~15K too many bad wu. The client is supposed to halt with error after 10 bad wu, so something went bad wrong... Client logs may show the failed wu with the actual error(s).

Would take more than 60K good wu with no failures to requalify the existing passkey.

Best to get a new passkey and qualify for bonus (complete 10 wu and maintain 80% finished OK).

Gahhhhh! Nooo! Something must have been catastrophic with my rig to do that 😳

Should have never switched Linux without doing all the hard work of a proper install 🤦‍♂️

Your system may have crashed, but the FAH software (client and/or assignment server) should have adequate safeguards to prevent that many failures. My active hosts are all Ubuntu 2204 with client 7.6.21, NVIDIA GPU.

So a new passkey but my folding name still aggregates to the same point total? Correct? I think I remember now… been a while 😅 just remembered we have done folding for others during memorial/competition folds…
Yes. We can change the Team # keep our passkey private and fold under any name. If you use your name and change Teams you will accumulate points and it will list them all under your name..

Yep—figured it out with new installs and updated passkey. My Ubuntu machines did in fact nuke my account due to configuration using the standard install v8 web client (GPU errors returning WUs). I guess the only way to really do it is with the v7 client with all the extra config steps.

I just find it odd because it was churning along fine for some time. But then again, an update could have broke something, and that’s why my PC dropped offline. I see many new Nvidia drivers in the Ubuntu application update… welp, time to tinker

@Norcalsteve Your new passkey is active. The last two wu completed received bonus, but the Linux host with CPUid 5FD81FB3641FC48A has not received bonus yet... Might not have completed wu since bonus active or still have passkey issue.

Yeah, I think it threw it again... My home PC here... I did let it finish, but I seen an error in the log:
12:40:05:W :OpenCL not supported: Failed to open dynamic library 'libOpenCL.so': libOpenCL.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Also seen a returned error.

I rebooted back into Windows, and will run it again with my new passkey this side.
