Does anyone know where I can get a 70x70 fan like the volcano 7+ or evercool has? It needs to be 42cfm if possible. I've looked all over the place, and can find only the standard fans.

A search of the forums turned up 2 pages of posts with 70mm mentioned in them, but no place to buy.

Thanks in advance.

Just get a good cutter and trim a 92mm by 22mm off two sides. Hey I converted all my 5.25inch disks like that to 3.5s back in the day, but for a freak magnetic storm I bet they would have worked too :D

Seriously though, yes 70mms are real hard to find, but there's some generic coolers with them on going for less than $15, so maybe you could buy one just for the fan?

Otherwise you might need to contact an electronic and electrical components supplier and make a minimum order of $50 or whatever.

I did find this; Sunon , but I couldn't find a distributor. Perhaps you could email the company and see if they have a local distributor for that size.

I paid about 100 bucks for the mobo. The 5.1 Sound from creative is just a Soundblaster pci128 onboard that was modified by Gigabyte to support 5.1 Sound! But it's enough for me.
BTW, this system can run at over 180 MHz FSB!

It's lookin like, as mentioned; I may have to buy a hs/fan combo. I found a cud-725?, with a 70x70 Aluminum fan for $19 + ship. May just get that since these fans are supposed to be even harder to find than just the regular 70's.

Thanks everyone for the input.
