420 is 128 bit SDram or 64 bit DDR....so either way its bandwith capped....7500 rocks it

Is the ATI Radeon 7500 capable of playing the latest games like UT 2003 at a decent resolution and framerate? It is the most expensive card I can afford right now. Should I get it or should I wait for something better to become cheaper?

So since the 7500 is better than a G4MX, would the 7500 be better than my GForce2Ti (64MB DDR)?

Thanks!
Jeff.

yes, but it wouldnt be worth the trouble of upgrading....if you want a new card at least get an 8500/Ti500 :)

I agree but if you are defintiely cash strapped the 7500 is your better buy, It will play UT at 1024x768 but at 16 bit and with basic settings but it will be playable

I say go for it or save and get a 8500LE 128 DDR

I can play UT3 no problem on my GF2Ti hehe not sure why :) Thanks for the info!

Jeff.

there ya go no real need to upgrade and what are the settings you are playing at, cause the R7500 will be a slight bit faster

bam no need ot upgrade if you do not have to , unless you feel the need and need more than 25-30 fps. there is always option of reducing some settings for more playabilty ( hey is that a word)
