Ive modified this Zalman VF700-CU w/ a powerful 80mm fan. These are the results im getting:

63C a little high (65f room) (original temps were 67C load w/ decent case flow). Also, my clocks are a bit low.
 
Maybe the beta does... but then I would suggest the change the name to something besides "ATI Tool" :D

I would be guessing he's using it to scan for artifacts and not for the actual over clocking. altho I can't be sure :shrug:
 
I use it to overclock, its .25 Beta8. Only thing that sucks about ATiTool w/ nvidia, is you cant find max core (It automatically test for gfxal errors on 2D operation :-/)

you can just up your clocks to what u want in 3d operation (in the 2d area) and lower them back when u know your limits, does the same thing
