Ive got Chaintech 7aiv5 kt133a, 1.4GHz TB Athlon, 40GB Maxtor + 256MB PC133 SDRAM Dimm, 300W PSU
If I build the system to W98 it works - but I will need USB and I think W98 is a bit flaky there.
If I build to W2000 it works, however if I add any software and restart the system, I get a chkdsk error and some files are corrupted (the disk is fine - Ive run the powermax check - its only when I write stuff and then reboot). I rebooted 10 times no problem, then added different software and the system now hangs. This is reproducible. Thank god I ran drive image pro
System is cool enough <50C CPU
Any suggestions greatly received (Im now pulling my hair out). Going off to press F5 when it says detecting devices.
