7v revving?

and it revvs! like a car engine, is this normal?

its not getting enough voltage, tyr a different fan, make sure you got the common wired right

Uh, I do not think that is normal. I have 4 120mm Sunons running at 7V and they all are as smooth as can be.

That is a fairly fast fan that draws more current than usual (1.2amp). I suspect that model it trying to draw more than 7V provides.

i was thinking the same i guess i can just get an adjustable resistor or somethinhg
