Twenty bones??? Geezzz...that's higher than giraffe's p___y!!!! for twenty bones your gonna have to throw in a list for a Dual Processor Athlon MP system part's list... gotta build one of them too!!! For a Newbie who don't know nuthin all the sudden everybody I know want's me to build em a box...

She uses Peachtree for her landscaping and lawn mantience company....I think she has Office 2000 but does not use it that much...She just wants a DVD-CDROM and a Plextor Burner...She has a 850 Pent 3 with cheap everything....no ram, spits hard drives out every other month and just wants a stable system that will last a little while

check out the thread on "pre-upgrade fear" in general discussion. Ferg outlines a system that would rock for only $871. A little over, I know, but just about worth it.

your supposed to get $100 for yourself , so you need the $700 ststem, LOL

seriosly though , go get her a good soyo or iwill mobo for her P-3 for $80 and some sdram, a vid card , and just make sure its got good components in it ,,, theres no need to trash a system that new, 850 is still PLENTY for any kind of office work, and she can keep her case-PSU-floppy etc.

see my sig it cost me 900 but prices have dropped since i built it on memory and burners.you could probably get a 1 gig as well for 800.
