This board is overclocking like a champ!

Right now I am running my RAM at CAS 2.5 at a 200MHZ FSB x9.5 = 1.9Ghz

I am also using the Beta Bios 2321, I'm sure some performance enhancments will follow with some future bios updates. But so far I love this board, previously had an 8K7A

VERY NICE!!! I have seen a few of these unlocked... and this is a very nice start - now you got your FSB cranked... how far can you go with the multiplier?

Great overclock, but please tell me why on Earth would you buy an Athlon XP 2000+ when you were going to unlock it? Could have gotten a 1600+ and just pumped the the fsb, you realize? :burn:

I think up to 13 if I am not mistaken. But I like the multiplier at 9.5 so I can run my FSB at 200. Although if needed I could drop the FSB and raise the Multi, but everything is stable so why bother.

Amazing

Btw how do your cards fare with the high FSB on the board? Does the 8K3A+ support PCI/AGP dividers:eh?: ?

Yes this board has 1/5 dividers over 166. It also has vcore to 2.2V! That is what REALLY helps to OC, you just need GOOD cooling!

Just placed an order for one, this afternoon, should be here within the week. Definitely looking forward to seeing how my chip can fare with that kind of sweet sweet Vcore, especially after the paltry 1.83 that my AK31 puts out.

Just a question... Does the KT266A idle call tweak work on your motherboard? That would push your temps down to atleast 23-30 idle...
That gets the noise level at an acceptable level (if you slow down your fans).

All the new Epox boards are really good!
Especially the new one the 8K3A+ (I think it's called...)!
And I'm not kidding...

Not to mention the 1/2.5 agp divisor and the 3.2v to ddr. This is Crucial 2100 on an xp1600, 8K3A.:D

8k3a, all flavors

this board has the 1/5 divider.

IT DOES NOT HAVE A 1/6 DIVIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it has not been implemented, although the ability to do so is just sitting on the board, waiting (for a proper bios).

i have tested all bios's and the 1/5 does kick in at 166 and beyond, but not the 1/6.

don't spread rumors, please.

and, for any of you that have gone over 200FSB (I am presently @9x206 with a MP2000+), video tearing, slight to really abmormal will surface its ugly head.

in my case the tearing is ever so slight, only happens when the screen is really full of characters while gaming, the higher i go with the FSB over 206, the worse it gets.

just thought you all might want to know.
