"We also got a confirmation from Epox that the board can read the temperature from Athlon XP's onchip diode" yes but that doesnt mean you see it. Some Epox dudes on another forum have said no I believe, others with know-how of why and why not agree. Normal users cant get USDM or MBM to read it either so conclusion must be a big no. But used for shutdown as you say. Someone said that you get pretty close to on die temp if you add 10 to the one from socket. May be thats true. In that case you dont need the read-out ;)
 
Thank you very much Tarzan, that means the epox 8k3a can´t show the temp too ?? or the 8k3a+ board has another sensor that can be dysplayed in the bios or mbm ?
