Ok so I got this mobo.

First thing I did was update the latest BIOS into it (8khi2304.bin).

Then I tried the FSB I got with my Gigabyte GA-7VTXE mobo. That was 140, with my 2*256 pc2100 Kingston DDR memory chips I did not manage to get Windows to load.

When I took the second chip off, 140 FSB is working nicely. Maybe I try a little more...

Anyone would have some info how I could get my other chip into use also? I don't like to keep this at 256M.

Did DIMM slot tests fast.

Using 2*256 chips.

Slots 1&2, post, no windows load
Slots 2&3, no post
Slot 1 only, everything fine

So I can't use these 2 chips when I have overclocked this.

I don't know man. The simpliest way is to buy a new 1x512 Mb.
This is my experience :
I have 1x512 Mb Infineon DDR266 on EP-8KHA+ and I manage to rich 146 MHz FSB stabile, without any voltage modification.
I think I can push further my RAM but my CPU doesn't "want" that :( (Tb950@1100) - but in this case I have to use some termal solutions and an increased voltage.

I have two 256Meg sticks of Crucial PC2100 running happily with a FSB of 166MHz (333MHz DDR)

If you want to push the FSB without RAM problems, there is a 3/4 RAM divider in the BIOS you can enable, so say your FSB was 150MHz, it would set your RAM frequency to 112.5MHz........

Cool, I gotta try that someday, I was running my sticks at Turbo settings by the way, programs were stable, but Diablo 2 install got messed up with it, I guess it's better not run CAS 2.5 memory at CAS 2 ;)
