8KHA+ vcore volt mod problems

everything looks fine (nothing is contacting anything else)

when it's on it boots for 1 seccond then shuts down when it's off it works
clearing the bios does not work

i'm useing 222Ohms of reistance

i 5 volt line modded my mosfets and when it boots without the mod i get 5.01v at the mosfet

when i boot without the mod on and then connect it when it's on it shuts down

any clue whats wrong?

Ok i just figured something really stupid out.

222 Ohms i was useing yet.... cw figured out that it was 220K omhs not 220 Ohms... thanks man...


hmmmm that would have been like 40vcore thank god for overcurrent protection.

I didn't have a 220ohm resistor at my disposal, so I just used two 110ohm ones in series. It's been solid for half a year now.

Running +.2v, with an additional socket mod that gets me an additional +.2v, allowing the 2400+ to successfully reach 2.33GHz.


The important thing to remember is to heatsink the MOSFETs after doing this mod.

220Ohms will not boot it would make the overvolt protection stop it from booting. the correct Ohms is 220K Ohms (220,000 Ohms).
