I keep getting a checksum error on
first hard boot up each day.
I go back into Cmos and reset all my setting to
Default , but this does not help!
Once I reset and boot everything is fine for the
rest of the day untill the next morning.
This is the Original board (not rev 2)
3.2 P4 2 Corsair Extreme 512m 3200 ram mods.
The ram moduals came from same place but a few
months apart same serial # but one has 1.1v
and one has 1.2v. Could this be affecting the timing?
I tried it with just one ram 512m , but same thing?
I have the F10 bios version loaded but no help
The system seems to run fine except for the annoyance
of having to reset Bios every day!
Anyone have similar problem with this board or ram?

Kevin

Ok, first thing: worst avatar ever.

As for your problem, most likely you have a dead CMOS battery. Once you replace it, your settings should be saved when you power down.
