Hello,
I need a 12volt, 10 pin adapter cable for my propriestery motherboard CPU slot.(lenovo u suck)
The only ones I can find are 8pin to 10 pins, meaning 1 pin will be split and the load will be unbalanced?
Is it alright to use 1 pin and turn the 12v's from that into 2pins?
The layout would be
PSU | 8pin -> 10pin | MB
Or is it best practice to say,
Use an 8pin (cpu) + 6pin (gpu) to 10 pin, wrapping the extra unused live wires?
My PSU: EVGA 750 G2 / 220-G2-0750-XR
Thank you!
