8RDA3+... Problems???

I've been out of it for a while, don't have the internet at home anymore. What is all this stuff I hear about people with REV 1.1 8RDA3+ boards having problems? What exactly are those problems? What is the difference between 2.x and 1.x?

My 1.1 board is runnning great, I have yet to have a single issue with it. Is it just some 1.1 boards that crap out on people, or are the problems inherent and consistant?

Are you referencing the problem of leaky capacitors? If so, basically what happened was EPoX switched brands (to Sanyo or something) for a revision and it was found that the capacitors would burst when run the boards were run at high FSBs/voltage. It happened on my rev. 1.1 8RDA+ however it didn't affect performance at all.

Havent heard about that, THT. What I have been hearing is that these boards don't like to go past 218 FSB, or something of the sort. Anyone know?
