FYI- Bought an Icebrq4 and copper Iceberg with the intent of installing one on my Abit NF-7S NB and the other on the video card- the copper iceburg only fit on the NB and the Iceberq4 fit neither. There are caps on the video card blocking these coolers from mounting correctly. The box says the Iceberq4 will fit the ATI 9600 Pro, but doesn't show the AIW- I thought it might fit but no luck for Hondo....

Has anyone found a HSF that will fit the 9600 Pro AIW?

You will probally have to fabricate something.

My 8500AIW is totally differnt than my 8500.

Most people aren't O/Cing AIWs and I haven't seen a specific heatsink for them.

I read some great reviews on the ability to overclock the 9600 Pro AIW, upped mine to 471/350 now...

The 9600 Pro AIW does use the same memory as the 9800 Pro. And does have a newer core then most 9600 Pro's (if you go into the newer=latest tweaks thing). So it should outclock most older 9600 Pro's, at least.

not exactly. the earliest 9600pros were the best ocers due to their increased core voltages. the only advantage the aiw has s that they use 2.8ns ram, which ocs better than the 3.3ns that most rev.2 9600pros boards use

I got a newer aiw 9600 pro and it can't overclock to save its life. Hardlocks the machine if i go past 440 core 350 ram and this is in a very cool room with watercooling on my cpu and a huge fan on the side of the case. Game performance is retarded bad compared to my old 9800 pro that I broke so I really thinking of making a multimedia machine only for my aiw and getting a 9800 np or a 9700 pro off of ebay.
