9600 Weak scores in 3DMark03

HELP!! Just built P4 3.0 @3.6 on Asus P4C800-E Deluxe w/R9600Pro running 435/300 stock cooling on video card, Vantec on cpu with 1g OCZ 4200 DDR.

Have Omega drivers and using Radclocker..Score went from 2059 at baseline w/ stock drivers.. 3659 with Omega drivers.. Have set priority of 3Dmark03 to 1... turned all sliders to performance or quality ... can not get above 3664.. Any suggestions ??

I've lurked in this forum for two months now and there's a lot of savy, clever people here.. Any infor would be appreciated... what am I doing wrong ?? I feel so stupid getting such low scores with this setup..
Also.. the 3DMark2001SE scores are even worse.. The best I've seen is 12,234..

Those realy arent bad scores. People have gotten better, but thats about what my friend gets with his. Without extreme cooling you probably wont get a LOT more.

i get around 3800 with mine. But seriously, dont put so much account into scores. If the game you got runs fine, then it runs fine. Who cares what "score" your computer gets. Dont worry about making it score higher, if it plays your games, your fine with it.

I was beginning to think I was going bonkers.. The video looks great... I guess it's very easy to get caught up in the numbers chase game..Thank you... I lost sight of the very reason we modify our machines anyway... Not to boast as to the highest score.. but to enjoy every possible bit of performance available..
