hi all.. ive ordered a zalman heat thingy for my 9700pro hercules....so im wodering can i put the copper fan on my north bridge looks to big for pins to fit but could use glue (thermal).....

has anyone done this ?:)

You could use thermal epoxy. might interfere with your Heatsink if u put a larger sink on. The Zalman Northbridge coolers are fairly good, thats what i use. They will fit pretty much any northbridge and mainboard as well. What cooler do you have on your northbridge at the mo?
DoM

i just have the normal silver castle on ....

thanx slater / domstar think ill give it a go no harm in trying and it will be the cheapest mod ive ever done.......

mmmm now what to do with the spare asus cooler

EDIT if that fails an iceberg copper cooler should do :)
