I've been reading up a little on these forums and I'm starting to notice something about OCing the 9800(pro)
-It seems that people with a high performance up-to-date system (P4 800FSB HT, and the top Bartons) CANNOT get a decent OC on their GPU (most are stuck around 400Mhz) but are already getting a high 3DMark score anyways.
-It seems that people with 'older but still very good systems' (no offence) CAN get a high OC on their GPU upto 450Mhz sometimes but still can't break the above mentioned systems' 3DMark score.
So for now the general conclusion seems to be that an 9800 that's really pushed by the system won't budge much when it comes to OCing. But an 9800 in an 'older' system will, hmmm?! Is anyone else noticing this? Please post your scores and comments. My 9800pro is running 400/730 and gets 20.312 3DMark01's and 6.299 3DMarks03's with the main system in my sig.
