9800x3D vs 9900x

Well, it appears 9800x3D is back in stock at multiple locations. I'm still within my return period for my 9900x. Would it make sense to get it?

The reason why I'm hesitant is I paid $380 for the 9900x and I'm okay with the performance. Is it worth the $100 premium to get the 9800x3D? It just seems if I paid about the same, it would make more sense. Thanks

With the higher res, maybe look at some benchmarks and decide. At 1440 (and less) I think it's worth it, you're higher than that but not quite 4k (where I don't think it would be worth it).

Edit: according to tpu... 8% at 1440, 2% at 4k...

.... worth it is up to you.... but there are the 'facts'.
