I cancelled my order on my other Hitachi Travelstar 60GB 7200RPM laptop HD when I found this Toshiba laptop HD (look at the buffer amount):

Is this for real? Can their really be a 16MB cache on a laptop HD, or even a desktop? And if this is true, then would it be a better (and cheaper) alternative against the Hitachi Travelstar 7200RPM laptop HD, which has only an 8MB cache, and how slower should I expect this 16MB cache Toshiba laptop HD to be against the Hitachi Travelstar 7200RPM laptop HD?

There are 16MB drives. I think it would run faster due to more cache but I dont know how much because I have never used one. You should run some google searches. I think you should be able to find a comparison between and 8MB cache laptop hd vs a 16MB cache.
