This is possible the most frustrating feature Microsoft has included in Windows to 'improve efficiency' as my dad tells me.
If i put a disk in A drive (1.44MB Floppy) and read its contents, then take out the disk and put another one in and read its contents (totally different disk) Explorer simply shows me what was in the previous disk because thats what is in its cache apparently.
My dad told me this has been a problem ever since dos came out but is the first time it has ever happened to me and it had to be on my brand new computer!!!

Any quick fix???

One way to knock sence into my computer is to;
1)view contents of 'Disk 1',
2)remove disk,
3)attempt to copy a file to A:,
3)get error message,
4)insert 'Disk 2',
...then its all good.
Isnt microsoft all about efficiency and user friendly interfaces?

Clearly this is not good enough

just press F5, (refresh) after u put in the new floppy, you dont even need to close the window between floppys
